OBAGI NuDERM
Unlike many over the counter skin care systems that work on the surface of the skin, Obagi NuDerm works at the cellular level. The Obagi NuDerm line helps to correct skin discoloration, blemishes and stimulates cell renewal. Obagi removes dead lifeless skin to allow nutrients to tighten and replenish moisture in the skin to restore healthy, younger looking skin.
CELLEX C
Cellex C is a topical application which offers highly concentrated Vitamin C oil or cream which offers firmer, smoother skin with a lessening of wrinkles in just 8-12 weeks . Cellex C products are a prevention and protection line of antioxidant vitamins (A,C,E)which fight free radicals caused from UV rays which damage the skin Free radicals degrade healthy skin cells making your skin appear devitalized and lifeless. At L’image Skin Spa you will experience a complimentary skin care consultation with a licensed medical aesthetician (skin care specialist). Your aesthetician will ask you questions about your skin, lifestyle, health, sun history, skin care products currently being used and goals for improving aspects of your skin. Based upon your unique history, she will design a custom treatment protocol which may include a combination of these treatments to improve your skin: cleansing systems, bleaching creams, facials, microdermabrasion, ultrasound or electrical stimulation, or laser procedures to correct imperfections and halt the aging process. She will follow you every step of the way to make sure you are achieving maximum effectiveness safely. Many times, exfoliation (removal) of old cells must be completed so that good nutrients can work under the skin to correct imperfections and restore a healthy balance and look.
A customized home regimen designed by our medical aestheticians will correct skin imperfections such as acne, aging skin or wrinkling, environmental damage and hyperpigmentation (discoloration) safely and more quickly than department store or drug store lines. Physician directed skin care lines allow a greater concentration of active ingredients (such as glycolic acid, alpha hydroxy acids, lactic acids, hydroquinones) to be transported into the skin to correct these imperfections . Medical grade skin care products (skinceuticals) may only be sold by a physician due to their high concentration of active ingredients. Because these active ingredients are not suitable for every skin type they must be monitored closely to prevent side effects. Skin care lines purchased at other retail avenues such as: department store counters, mail order skin care, drug store products are designed to be mild and tolerated by any skin type: oily or dry, fair or dark) and may not be as effective for you.
